Absolute Must Haves for Babies

Being a first time mom is scary and brings so much uncertainty. It is definitely a learn as you go process. No child is the same. Below, I am going to share with you some items that I consider "Absolute Must Haves." These items are things I wish I had known about sooner. Read along with me and let me help make your mama life easier.

1. Toy Straps

My little one has found her ability to throw things and push things out of her way. It is almost a game to her, or I think it is anyway. These are a LIFE SAVER! It is especially helpful for eating out, grocery shopping, walks in the stroller, and keeping toys and pacifiers connected to the baby and the carseat during car rides. These toy straps also help keeps toys off of the floor and clean for the mouths of babies. Let's be honest, if your little one is anything like mine, everything goes straight for the mouth. EVERYTHING! Click the link below the picture and snag these now!

2. Bathtime Rinse Cup

My second favorite item is this shampoo rinser. If you battle ear infections like we do, you NEED this! It keeps too much water from hitting the little ones in the face, but also introduces them to water in the face. Mine loves water, so I see many swimming days in our future. Be sure you click the link below the picture to get the best bath time necessity ever invented!

3. Remote Teethers

We all know that babies want anything and everything that is not theirs. These have been great considering she loves to put everything in her mouth, and it looks just like our remote. Just like it! Click the link below the picture, you know you need these!

4. Bumbo Seat
The Bumbo seat has been the best investment in our household. We use it everyday. We use it to eat and ride in things such as a wagon and grocery cart. My girl loves it! Click the link below new mamas, you'll thank me later!

5.  Bathtub Seat
My mother-in-law bought this seat for us, and it has been wonderful. My little one wanted to start sitting up quickly, and this was so helpful. It suctions and has a grippy seat to keep the babies in place. We could't do bath time without it!

I hope these five items are helpful for you mamas! Click those links below the pictures and get to shopping!

Introducing...Me!

 Hello all!

My name is Taylor. I am a wife, mother, teacher, coach, follower of Christ, and true fashionista.

I have been married to my husband for two years, but we have been together a total of four years. Just to share how small of a world it is, we have known of each other since high school, but never pursued one another until after college. We met the January before Covid hit, and we hit it off instantly. It only took me about three weeks to know this was the man I wanted to spend forever with. It has been a wonderful four years, and I love him more with every passing day.

We have a daughter who is three months shy of a year old. Man, that went fast! She entered the world in October of 2022. She is the light of our world! She makes every bad day a good day. She has the prettiest blue eyes and a smile that will light up any room. I am not partial or anything! I thank God everyday for allowing me to be her mother. I do not know what we ever did without her.

Aside from my primary job of being a wife and mother, which I absolutely love, I am a teacher and coach. Teaching and coaching is a passion. It is a calling. Teaching is not for the weak of heart! Days are long...very long. And, not only are they long, but they can be difficult. But, my love for reading and helping kiddos thrive keeps me going! My family and I love attending sporting and family events. I grew up the daughter of a coach and married one, too. So, no chance at not liking sports or sporting events. It keeps us busy and on the go!

As much as I love my chaotic life, I am so thankful for the Lord's mercy and grace. I fall short and fail, daily. More like, ALL of the time. But, the Lord shows me mercy and covers me with his grace. Not only during the hard days, but the easy ones, too. I try to do the same in return for others, having mercy and showing  grace. I know how much I need it, so others deserve it, too.
